Carol's Books

This Time Together: Laughter and Reflection [Paperback]
   Audible Audio Edition

This is my favorite book by Ms. Burnett. I especially enjoyed the audio version of the book as she shares her insights to behind the scenes friendships, famous people and tv show. Each section is short and self contianed and you won't want to put it down until your done. Trust me, you're going to love this book!
One More Time: A Memoir (Encore Nonfiction Modern Classics) [Paperback]

Carol Burnett spent most of her childhood in a Depression-scarred Hollywood neighborhood, where she lived in a single-room apartment with her endearingly batty grandmother, Nanny, a hypochondriacal Christian Scientist with a buried past. The child of two alcoholic parents, Burnett presents a sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking coming-of-age: from her sadly hopeful mother, who was hooked on Tinseltown fantasy, to the first signs of her own comic gift; from happy weekends spent with her father, to their last tragic meeting in a public sanatorium. One More Time : A Memoir By Carol Burnett (original)

One of the best celebrity memoirs ever. If anyone ever deserved the success in life that Carol Burnett received, it is she. This little girl, raised in poverty, in a one room apartment, literally steps away from the then- at- its- peak Hollywood Boulevard, a muckle mouthed little dreamer, tended by her cuckoo "Nanny", both parents tragic alcoholics, both of whom did not have a happy ending...This is a fabulous, humble, true success story, about one of the most talented, respected, classy ladies in the history of show-biz.  By F. Hollywood Arms - Acting Edition [Paperback] co-written with Carrie Hamilton, Carol's daughter

I have been a fan of Carol Burnett for many years. The play HOLLYWOOD ARMS is based on her life with Nanny before Carol moved to New York and made it big. Its a good play, and a fast read. For anyone interested in looking for new plays to produce for community theatre, check out this script HOLLYWOOD ARMS! T. G. Harpster

What I Want to Be When I Grow Up [Hardcover 1975] co-authored with George Mendoza

Carol assumes many different professions to show children what they can dream to be. In her own guffy style she makes this book fun for adults as well. Unfortunately it appears you can only buy this book used.
